Reduces glare in the rain, especially at night. PPG's Aquapel Glass Treatment forms a chemical bond with the glass which increases water repellency, causing it to bead and easily shed off the glass. This product works as promised. Seems to improve visibility and the performance of windshield wipers as rain drops bead easily at lower speeds and are whisked off the windshield easily at higher speeds. Can't compare Aquapel to other products because I haven't used any but I'll happily buy more Aquapel.

I've used RainX for a very long time on my cars, often re-applying it every 2 months just to keep it beading well. The problem with rainX though besides longevity is it was slightly difficult to buff off the glass even after hazing and using water.
With this new Aquapel product I don't have to buff to remove the product and it does last a full 6 months. The product works best on a clean windshield, so you must keep your car's glass clean, but it works very well at speeds over 35 or in heavy downpours. It is also resilient to windshield wiper use and seems to work as well in the areas where wipers have been as where they have not been.
This is a fantastic product, and a worthwhile safety item everyone should have. If you like RainX, you will love this.
